WATCH OUT
I rode my bike this morning to Sunset Lake. This is the same route I always take. Wes has been training for the Conquer the Coast ride so he prefers to ride to the point of heat stroke; whereas I prefer to ride to the point of hunger. Anyway, on the route there are these 2 annoying, squeaky, chihuahuas that I have named Satan and Lucifer. They bark and run toward me snarling and showing their teeth but are on long chains attached to a tree. I have started almost laughing at them because I know they can't bother me or run out in my path. Well, not TODAY, one of them, Lucifer the bigger of the two scrawny rats, ran out in the street nearly in front of me. Scared the crap out of me. I am not afraid of the dogs, but of hitting one with my bike and crashing and hurting myself. This has happened before, just ask Wes or Kim or anyone who has ridden much at all.
Lesson-Don't think Lucifer is just out of your reach and can't bother you. Just when you let your guard down...there he is!

Running down Lucifer with a bike...hum...let me think... Could that make up for drinking diet coke in the break room of the temple???

Thanks for your comment..I always get excited to see them! :)I got it from Avon. It's actually double-sided so it's even more room! :) I only used one side and doubled up, but I need to use both because I'm still using a jewlry box too.
hey there lady! i am actually comin' back to the states this week to sort through all the visa documents i need in order to get a job overseas. (something we weren't told we needed) i am awfully excited to head home for a month or so and get some recoup time before i'm gone for a year. i'm glad you are reading my blog! it's good to know i can entertain someone! :) hope you and wes and the family are well! i think now i'll actually get to go to jordan's wedding!!! :)
That's so funny mom! Don't be fooled Chihuahua's are mean little suckers...they will bite! And quit exercising it makes me feel guilty, haha...just walking upstairs makes me out of breath. Its funny, I eat and don't exercise and I lost another lb this week...if only it could stay that way the rest of my life :-)
